Community RelationsCommunity Relations bridges the gap between the mission and the community at large. Tours of the Gospel Rescue Mission Men's Center, Women and Children's Center and Community Ministries are conducted on a regular basis. Donors, ministry groups, churches, civic organizations, Pastors, individuals and families are invited to "come and see" what is happening. Community Relations provides speakers to churches, civic clubs and other organizations wanting a presentation about the mission. Community Ministries provides a manned display booth for Missions Conferences. The Mission also provides churches with a guest Pastor to share from the pulpit. COME & SEE TOURS
ext. 209. We’d love to show YOU around and have YOU join us for lunch.
Schedule of Tours Tours are usually scheduled on Tuesday, Thursday and one Saturday a month from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm beginning at the Community Ministries building, 338 W. 28th Street. Please contact Suzanne J. Williams at 740-1501 ext. 209 to schedule your tour or set up a different time for your group.
SPEAKING ENGAGEMENTS If your church group, civic club, or organization would like us to come to you for a presentation about our ministry, contact Danny Hansen at our business office. We have a short video, information, and handouts to share with your group. MISSIONS CONFERENCES We have a display and literature for your next church Missions Conference. It is our desire to raise awareness at local churches regarding missionary opportunities, such as ours. Your members could become involved in missions work right here in Tucson at our centers. When you plan your next conference, please notify Danny Hansen . GUEST PASTOR We recognize that churches occasionally have a need for someone to fill their pulpit (Pastoral emergencies, illness, vacation, etc). If your church is in need of a guest Pastor to share a message or sermon, contact us. We have several ordained ministers on staff who may be able to help out. Please contact Danny Hansen at the business office to make arrangements.
