Can anyone come on the tour?
The tours are open to everyone; Donors, Volunteer candidates, Business partners, church members, etc.; anyone and everyone. We love showing off the wonderful things the Lord is doing here – whether you are interested in volunteering. You will become a wonderful homeless advocate with all the information you gather during the tour for wherever you work or experience homeless in your daily life.
Where does the tour start and end?
The tour begins at the Volunteer Office located in South Tucson at 338 W. 28th Street. The tour guides will lead the tour from the South Tucson to Miracle Mile for a walk through of the Women and Children’s Center where the tour ends.
Where do I park when taking a tour?
The tour starts at the Volunteer Office located at 338 W. 28th Street. Parking is along the street in a residential neighborhood. Please do not block any driveways or mail boxes.
Is there a bus stop nearby?
Yes, Bus #8 can drop you off on 6th Avenue and 28th Street (3 ½ block walk to our office) and Bus #16 will drop you off at 10th and 29th Street (100 Yards from our door).
Is there a lot of walking on the tour?
Yes, the tour is a guided walking tour and our facilities are handicap accessible.
