Freedom From Addiction
I came off the streets. I was addicted to meth and opiates. Through the program, I’ve been clean for five months now, and that’s through this program, God, and your support. Thank you very much. – Jason
All glory to God for what He has done for me in my recovery. Since being here at GRM, I’ve been able to restore my relationships with my family, my son, and with God. I’ve also been able to successfully make it off of Intensive Probation, make new healthy friends, complete my recovery program, transition into job training, and still have a place to live while I look for a job. Safe Place to Start Again
My son and I came to Gospel Rescue Mission last month. I have been dealing with debilitating health issues. As a result, I lost my job, my home, and all our possessions, including my car. I’m so grateful for GRM giving us a home, an opportunity to find a job, and most importantly– hope. Thank you for all you do to help those in need. – Irene
I’m a single mother to a 4-month-old baby girl. We were welcomed here through Operation Rescue, and that’s exactly what happened. We were rescued from homelessness. I joined the workforce program, currently doing job training in the GRM Warehouse, sorting through donations. I’m gaining skills that I’ll be able to take with me to my new job. I feel safe and heard here. It’s a life-changing opportunity to better myself that I’m not taking for granted, so thank you! – Shaina
A New Life in Christ
I came here when I was released from the county jail. It has brought God back into my life along with sobriety. I never thought I could have sobriety in my life until I got here. GRM is helping me get my life back and getting my family back in my life. I owe everything to God and GRM. Thank you so much for everything you do! – Brian
After losing my wife of 23 years to COVID in 2020, I spiraled into a life of drugs so I wouldn’t have to feel the loss. Over the next 4 years, I lost everything. I lost everything. I spent all my time looking for my next high. In April 2025, I found myself at the front of GRM. Shortly after coming in, I committed my life to God and started the recovery program. Today, I am thrilled to say that God has been healing my life. I have graduated from the program and am actively looking for work.
