A New Gateway to Hope
Gospel Rescue Mission is establishing the OPERATION RESCUE Downtown Intake Center—creating an additional, welcoming entry point for individuals seeking help in the heart of downtown Tucson. This new location expands access to care for those who may face barriers reaching other services, offering a visible and approachable first step toward support.
Designed to be safe, accessible, and relational, the Downtown Intake Center will connect guests with compassionate staff, provide clear guidance on available programs, and help individuals access essential services. By meeting people where they are and simplifying the path to care, this center opens the door to stability, healing, and lasting transformation—right where the need is greatest.
Why It Matters
Accessing help can be difficult when transportation challenges, unfamiliar locations, or uncertainty create barriers for those in need. The OPERATION RESCUE Downtown Intake Center is designed to remove those obstacles by providing a safe, welcoming, and easily accessible space in the heart of Tucson. Here, guests can receive guidance from caring staff, learn about available GRM programs, access immediate resources, and begin the intake process with dignity and respect. By bringing services closer to where people already are, the Downtown Intake Center creates a clear, compassionate pathway to support, stability, and lasting transformation.
