From Homelessness to Home
A safe place to live is more than shelter—it is the foundation for lasting change. At Gospel Rescue Mission, we help guests move beyond temporary solutions and take meaningful steps toward permanent housing and independence. Through structured programs, personalized support, and consistent care, individuals and families gain the stability needed to rebuild their lives.
With the assurance that they are not walking this journey alone, guests begin to establish roots, restore confidence, and move forward with hope—building a future grounded in security, dignity, and lasting transformation.
Housing for the Employed
For guests who are working—or who secure full-time employment through our Workforce Development Program—Gospel Rescue Mission provides a structured, supportive pathway to housing stability. This approach allows individuals to focus on consistent employment while receiving the guidance, accountability, and encouragement needed to prepare for independent living.
Through financial discipline, practical housing education, and comprehensive wraparound support—including meals, shelter, and essential resources—guests reduce barriers and build toward long-term success. This program empowers working individuals to establish a strong financial foundation, develop healthy life skills, and confidently transition into housing they can secure, sustain, and call home.
Work & Learn
Guests maintain full-time employment while attending at least one housing class each week. Classes are offered seven days a week to accommodate varied work schedules.
Savings Plan
Participants build strong financial habits by setting aside the majority of their income, creating a solid foundation for future housing.
Comprehensive Support
GRM provides meals, shelter, clothing, and hygiene resources, allowing guests to focus fully on employment, savings, and housing goals.
Housing for Fixed Income
For guests living on Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI), Supplemental Security Income (SSI), or other forms of stable monthly income, Gospel Rescue Mission offers a housing pathway designed around financial stewardship, consistency, and long-term planning. This approach recognizes the unique challenges of living on a fixed income while providing structure, education, and personalized support.
Through housing classes, life-skills education, and one-on-one coaching, guests gain practical tools to budget wisely, plan for future expenses, and make informed financial decisions. With encouragement and accountability every step of the way, individuals are equipped to manage their resources effectively and move toward stable, sustainable housing and long-term success.
Weekly Classes
Guests attend housing and life-skills classes Monday through Friday, building practical budgeting and planning skills.
Savings Plan
Participants follow a structured savings approach designed to prepare them financially for independent housing.
Personalized Case Management
Each guest receives one-on-one guidance to address individual barriers and create a realistic path forward.
Why It Matters
Housing is more than a roof—it’s stability, dignity, and hope for the future. At GRM, we don’t just help our guests find housing; we help them keep it. By walking alongside each person with compassion, structure, and accountability, we see lives rebuilt and families restored.
