Opportunity Pet Center
The Opportunity Pet Center provides shelter, care, and foster services for the pets of guests while they participate in GRM programs, removing a major barrier to seeking help. At the same time, it offers hands-on training and career pathways in pet care and grooming for individuals interested in working in the animal care field.
Opportunity Salon
A welcoming salon where beauty meets dignity. Interns receive hands-on training in cosmetology, hairstyling, barbering, and customer care—building transferable skills and working toward professional certification. Guests enjoy high-quality services while directly supporting life-changing training and pathways to meaningful careers.
Online and Retail Sales
Through intern-created arts and crafts and mission-branded merchandise, interns gain hands-on experience in sales, digital marketing, logistics, and customer engagement. This real-world training equips them for careers in a growing industry while generating sustainable revenue that supports Gospel Rescue Mission’s programs.
Opportunity Sports and Learning
A center for fitness, recreation, and education in a safe, uplifting environment. Interns gain experience in sports management, mentorship, and facility operations, while children and families benefit from programs that promote health, teamwork, learning, and positive community connection.
