Ryan serves as Chief Operating Officer at Gospel Rescue Mission, providing executive leadership across shelter operations, guest services, children’s services, education, and frontline program teams. His leadership is shaped by both professional experience and personal journey—bringing empathy, accountability, and mission-first clarity to GRM’s daily operations.

Journey to GRM
After leading a small church organization with his wife, Ryan experienced a season of profound challenge that ultimately led their family through housing instability and homelessness. That lived experience deeply informs how he leads today.
When an opportunity opened at the Center of Opportunity, Ryan and his wife felt a clear calling to return to Tucson. They joined GRM as Guest Advocates and quickly distinguished themselves through compassion and excellence. Ryan advanced to Guest Advocate Coordinator, then Director of Shelter Program, and now serves as Chief Operating Officer—overseeing the systems and teams that support guests at every stage of restoration.
Mission in Action
Ryan believes his story reflects the heart of Gospel Rescue Mission: that redemption is possible, dignity matters, and restoration happens best when people are seen, known, and supported. His leadership ensures that GRM’s mission is lived out daily through excellence, compassion, and faithful stewardship.
