Be Still and Draw Near

We have been talking this month about who Jesus said He is.
When we see who Jesus is, our only response should be, “I want to know You.”
How do I have a closer walk with You, Lord?
Psalm 46:10 tells us, “Be still and know that I am God.”
So how do we do that?
Jesus lived a life yielded to the Father.
John 5:30:
“I can of Myself do nothing. As I hear, I judge; and My judgment is righteous, because I do not seek My own will but the will of the Father who sent Me.”
God wants us to be yielded and led by His Spirit.
When we yield to the Spirit and allow Him to lead us, our desires change, and our flesh no longer rules.
James 4:8 says that if we draw near to God, He draws near to us.
Lord, our desire is to be near to You. We want to know Jesus and walk close to Him.
Lord, my prayer is that you instruct me and teach me so that I know the way to go.
Lord, let me know you so intimately that one word from you will be all the direction that I will need.
Lord, guide me with Your eye. (Psalm 32:8)
