2 Corinthians 5:17-21
(17) Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come. (18) All this is from God, who through Christ reconciled us to himself and gave us the ministry of reconciliation; (19) that is, in Christ, God was reconciling the world to himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and entrusting to us the message of reconciliation. (20) Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, God making his appeal through us. We implore you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God. (21) For our sake he made him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.

That is some amazing news! God took what was flawed and made us brand new.

We have become a New Creation so that we can be trusted with the message; so that we can share the Good News with others.

The world’s mindset says I’m ENTITLED; Entitlement is about you feeling comfortable. I deserve this and need the utmost comfort.

The Kingdom’s mindset says I’m ENTRUSTED: Everyone receives something that God expects you to use and do something with it for Him.

God is saying, I don’t respond to you based on your sense of ENTITLEMENT

The Cross wasn’t about providing what you deserved. God owed you nothing.

We didn’t deserve Jesus dying for us. We didn’t deserve His sacrifice.

God entrusts us. He does not Entitle us. There are however blessings with His Entrusting.

He wants us to be blessed, to be healed, to be provided for.

All of the things He has promised are ours, but more importantly they are also for someone else.

He has entrusted us to share with someone else what Jesus has done for us and what He wants to do for them.

You ARE a New Creation and you have something to offer the people around you.
