Serving Side by Side

Hope often begins with something simple—a warm meal, a clean shirt, or a conversation that reminds someone they matter.

During this month’s 2nd Saturday Operation Rescue Outreach, we had the privilege of serving our community alongside New Spirit Lutheran Church during one of their ongoing outreach events. Together, we met people where they were with compassion, dignity, and practical support.

Gospel Rescue Mission’s Operation Rescue Mobile Closet was on site, providing free clothing to those in need, while New Spirit Lutheran Church served food, distributed essential care items, and offered other valuable resources to neighbors experiencing hardship.

When organizations come together with one shared purpose, lives are touched in meaningful ways. Every act of kindness helps restore hope, preserve dignity, and reminds each person they are seen, valued, and loved.

We are deeply grateful to New Spirit Lutheran Church, our volunteers, and everyone who made this outreach possible. Every conversation shared, every meal served, every piece of clothing given, and every helping hand reflected the compassion that strengthens our community.

Together, we’re bringing hope to our neighbors and building a stronger, more compassionate community—one outreach, one relationship, and one act of kindness at a time. ❤️
