WHEN REJECTION ISN’T THE END

In the time that we live, being rejected is the norm. We are rejected by friends, bosses, co-workers, family, spouses—you name it, rejection is a normal part of life.

We are all looking for acceptance, and when we finally think we are accepted, we find that acceptance was not unconditional.

Ephesians 1:6 tells us that we are accepted in the Beloved.

This is who we are. No matter who has rejected us, we know that we will never be rejected by Jesus.

He accepted us, and we are His.

Not only will He never reject us, He has chosen us (Isaiah 41:9).

Jesus loves us. He created us, He chose us, He redeemed us, and He calls us by name. We are His (Isaiah 43:1).

Here is the challenge: You have been accepted…accept others.

Romans 15:7

“Therefore accept each other just as Christ has accepted you, so that God will be given glory.”

What can you do today to help someone else feel accepted? What can you do to let someone know that Jesus accepts them?
