GRM Research & White Papers
Gospel Rescue Mission is a team of Christ followers called to serve the most vulnerable in our community. We welcome everyone who comes through our doors with love, dignity, and respect. In a safe and healthy environment, we walk alongside our guests—offering a pathway from homelessness to wholeness and self-sufficiency.
Because we collect and collate hundreds of datapoints across the full guest journey, our model can be evaluated with clarity: what helps people stabilize, what supports recovery, what accelerates job readiness, and what leads to lasting housing outcomes. This page is a growing library of university-led research, student capstones, partner evaluations, and independent white papers that examine the impact of GRM’s approach.

Why Research Matters
Strong care requires strong accountability. Our research is grounded in real-world outcomes measured across programs and services. Examples include:
-
Validate what’s working—and replicate it
-
Identify gaps and strengthen program design
-
Inform community partners and funders with transparent results
-
Share a scalable model other communities can learn from
-
Track long-term outcomes that lead to stability, recovery, and self-sufficiency
-
Align services with best practices while remaining rooted in our Christ-centered mission
-
Guide data-driven decisions that improve care, stewardship, and community impact
What We Measure
Our outcomes are built from real-world operational data collected across services and programs. Examples include:
-
Engagement & stability: intake pathways, length of stay, service utilization, barrier reduction
-
Recovery progress: program participation milestones, completion indicators, aftercare engagement
-
Workforce outcomes: skills attainment, certifications, job placement, retention trends, wage growth (where available)
-
Housing outcomes: transitions to safe housing, follow-up touchpoints, returns-to-homelessness indicators (where trackable)
-
Whole-person supports: counseling participation, case management plans, community referrals, family reunification markers
Note: Publication datasets are shared in alignment with privacy standards and data-sharing agreements.
