From Breakfast Burritos to Christmas Blessings

This week, we went out into the Tucson community to serve our homeless neighbors through our breakfast burrito outreach—but this one was different.

We decided to add a whole new vibe ✨ Along with warm breakfast burritos, we brought a Christmas tree, gifts, a raffle, and buckets filled with personal hygiene essentials for everyone who stopped by. What began as a simple meal quickly became a moment of joy, dignity, and celebration.

The smiles said it all. For some of our neighbors, it may have been a long time since they received a gift—something chosen just for them. Seeing their excitement and gratitude was priceless.

This outreach wasn’t just about food. It was about love, humanity, and making sure every person felt seen, valued, and cared for this season. 💙

We’re thankful to the Arizona Bowl for a grant to upgrade our OPERATION RESCUE Mobile Closet, helping us serve our neighbors with dignity across Southern Arizona.
