At Gospel Rescue Mission, we believe no single organization can solve homelessness alone. That’s why we pioneered the Center of Opportunity—a first-of-its-kind, collaborative campus that brings together multiple service providers under one roof. By working side-by-side, we eliminate barriers, reduce duplication, and ensure that men, women, and families experiencing homelessness can access everything they need in one place.
The Center of Opportunity has become a national model for cooperative homeless shelters, inspiring cities and organizations across the country to rethink how they care for their most vulnerable neighbors. Instead of scattering services across town, this model brings medical care, mental health services, addiction recovery, workforce development, housing navigation, and spiritual support together in a single, coordinated hub.
Why the Center of Opportunity Works
The Recovery Program is built on the Genesis Process Relapse Prevention model, which has helped more than 70% of participants nationwide achieve lasting recovery for over 30 years. Guests walk through four progressive phases that address not only sobriety but also the underlying causes of addiction, guiding them toward lasting change.
